Louka (Meadow, 712 m)
A village which was founded in the 15th century. The local St. Wenceslas Church was controlled by the Premonstratensians of Bečov. Famous St. Wenceslas fairs used to be held there. The Baroque church was pulled down in about 1980. Only a few recreation cottages have been preserved of the original built-up area. The road connecting Karlovy Vary and Mariánské Lázně once ran through Louka.
You can get a nice view of the Teplá Valley and Bečov from the top of the Strážný Hill (751 m) near Louka. Pitch was exploited in the neighbouring woods up to the close of the 19th century.
